Let’s talk about magic. Because that’s exactly what this session felt like! Brielle is a senior from Plymouth High School who is all kinds of involved—in volleyball, NHS, show choir, WE ACT… and somehow still finds time for baking, running, cooking, singing, shopping, and traveling. (Seriously, is there anything this girl doesn’t do?!)

She’s got the kindest heart, a love for adventure, and a bucket list that includes skydiving, seeing all seven continents, and becoming fluent in Spanish. And fun fact—she can’t live without juice. (I mean… I get it. Juice is elite.)

For her senior session, we started at the stunning Kohler-Andrae State Park. The white sandy beach, the soft waves, and that red dress she wore? Absolutely breathtaking. The color popped so beautifully against the water and made her look like she belonged in a magazine spread.

But here’s the behind-the-scenes truth: it was crazy windy that day. Like… hair-whipping, dress-blowing, sand-in-your-eyes kind of windy. You’d never guess it from the portraits though—Brielle totally owned it and handled the wind like a pro.

Since the weather was a little wild, I actually got to photograph Brielle a second time (which was such a treat!) while I was photographing her identical twin sister. We took advantage of the calmer day and grabbed a few more portraits of Brielle to round out her gallery.

Next, we stopped at the beautiful American Club for some indoor portraits by the flowers (such a dreamy location!), and then ended her session at a nearby park in the tall grass and wildflowers. The golden tones and soft light made for such a peaceful, natural finish to her session.

Now, Brielle is off to UW-Madison—and I have no doubt she’s already doing big things. With her adventurous spirit, kind heart, and go-getter attitude, she’s going to light up whatever path she chooses.

Brielle, thank you for letting me be a part of this special season. Photographing you (twice!) was such a joy, and I’m so excited to see where life takes you next.
