I love when senior sessions bring a sense of familiarity—and this one did just that! Meet Austin, or as most people call him, Stiny, a senior from Neillsville High School. I had the honor of photographing his older brother a few years ago, and it was such a treat to now capture this milestone for him!

For Stiny’s session, we kicked things off in downtown Neillsville, exploring some of my favorite spots around the old feed mill. The textures, tones, and charm of that area always make for the best backdrops—especially when you have someone as chill and easygoing as Austin in front of the camera. After wrapping up downtown, we made our way over to the arboretum for a change of scenery and grabbed a few shots by the river.

Even though he was on the quieter side, Stiny was totally go-with-the-flow during the shoot. It made for such a laid-back and enjoyable evening!

Outside of school, Austin keeps busy with football, baseball, fishing, exercising, and hanging with friends. He’s a big music lover too, and I always think it’s fun to learn more about what makes each senior unique. His bucket list includes skydiving, traveling to Europe, and scuba diving—three epic adventures that I hope he checks off in the future!

Austin is now off to UW-La Crosse, and I have no doubt he’s already doing great things! Congrats, Stiny, and thanks for letting me be a small part of your journey.
