I recently met Kelly and Jose for their Door County Engagement Session, and what a beautiful day it was! The weather and lighting were absolutely ideal, perfect for this adorable couple to capture images of them in this season of life together! We met at Crossroads at Big Creek Preserve in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. This location was was too adorable; it had a rustic country feel and a lot of meaning for the bride-to-be, Kelly. Her dad and grandpa helped build and maintain the log building the couple is captured with. What a special memory this session will be for the whole family!
Meaningful Moments
We hung their wedding date on one of the porch posts to incorporate an element of their special day into the building and their image. Although it was a beautiful day it was still cold, but that did not stop us from exploring the park and capturing a few gorgeous pictures along the way. Kelly and Jose love nature and have a goal as a couple to visit every national park and Major League Baseball Stadiums in the United States. They were even engaged on one of their trips, while they were exploring the Colorado Parks and Stadium!
It was fun to explore the Crossroads with these two! There was an adorable area of the park designed like an old town and we just HAD to get some pictures in this sweet little spot! There was a cute church, log home, general store and barn! The little white chapel was too cute to pass up for their engagement session. I think their images turned out beautifully and cannot wait for their September wedding!
Capturing these precious moments for Kelly and Jose as their Door County Engagement Session photographer was such an honor!
Are you recently engaged? Congratulations! I would love to chat about your photography needs!
