Jen + Pat’s engagement session at Lake Park was a chilly yet magical day! These two currently live in sunny California, so we planned their session during one of their visits back to Milwaukee to see family. As luck would have it, we ended up with one of the coldest February days—but they were absolute troopers, and we made it work beautifully!
Lake Park in Milwaukee gave us the dreamiest winter backdrop. The fresh snow, scenic pathways, and iconic bridges added so much charm to their photos. Of course, we couldn’t miss the chance to include the lighthouse—it’s such a gorgeous landmark and made for some standout moments.
After wrapping up at Lake Park, we headed over to Discovery World to capture a few shots with the city skyline in the background. The contrast of the urban backdrop against the snowy landscape was chef’s kiss! Despite the freezing temperatures, Jen + Pat braved the cold with smiles and plenty of laughter.
This was my first time meeting them in person, and I have to say—it was such a joy to get to know these two! Their warmth and love for each other truly shone through, making the session extra special.
Here are a few of my favorite images from their Lake Park engagement session:
