I am so excited to introduce you to Mary, a senior from Oshkosh North High School! Mary is one busy student, balancing dance, student council, honors society, and the school newspaper—not to mention her job as a waitress! She describes herself as friendly, which was definitely apparent during our session. She also can’t live without her pets, and she’s a fan of shopping at American Eagle, Abercrombie, Lululemon, and Target.

When it comes to her bucket list, Mary has three big goals: tackling the Angels Landing hike at Zion National Park (talk about brave!), studying abroad in Spain to immerse herself in the language and culture, and buying a really nice car when she’s older—ambitious and practical! After high school, Mary plans to attend UW Madison with a premed major and a certificate in Spanish. I can already tell she’s going to do amazing things in her future!

For her senior session, we headed out to my family farm, which is a perfect choice for anyone looking for a simplistic, natural background. The field with tall grass provided a gorgeous, open setting. We started when the sun was a bit higher in the sky, capturing some soft light. As the sun got lower, it turned into the perfect golden glow that every photographer dreams of! Mary chose two outfits for her session: one casual look with an adorable white headband, and a flowy green dress that looked absolutely stunning against the tall grass. Talk about style!

Mary was such a blast to photograph! She was laid-back, open to all my creative ideas, and we had plenty of laughs along the way. I’m so glad I got to capture this special time in her life, and I know she has an incredible journey ahead.
