Neillsville senior, Micah, is the youngest of three boys—and I’ve had the honor of photographing all of their senior portraits over the years. This session was a little bittersweet! It’s wild how fast time flies, and it’s hard to believe this was the last one! Each of these sessions has been so special, and I truly mean it when I say this family is one of the kindest. These boys are always so sweet and respectful, and you can tell they were raised with so much love.
Just like his older brothers, we photographed Micah’s senior session at the Neillsville arboretum. It’s such a peaceful spot—surrounded by woods, trails, and the Black River. This location has kind of become “their spot” over the years, which made it all the more meaningful to go back one last time.
Micah is active in football, basketball, and baseball, and when he’s not on the field or court, you can find him hanging out with his friends—watching movies or tossing a frisbee around. He’s got such a laid-back personality and was so easy to work with (which seems to be a theme with this family!).
After graduation, Micah is heading to UW-La Crosse to study physical therapy and exercise & sports science. I have no doubt he’ll thrive there and continue making his family proud.
Micah, thanks for letting me document this milestone for you—it’s been such a gift to watch you and your brothers grow up in front of my camera. Wishing you all the best on this next chapter!
