There’s something so romantic about a winter engagement session.. the soft light, the cozy vibes, and a couple willing to brave the cold together? That’s a win in my book.

Nadia + Brad are getting married this September at The Fitzgerald in Milwaukee, and if their engagement session was any indication… their wedding is going to be incredible!

We started their session at the beautiful Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum and even in the middle of winter, it didn’t disappoint. The architecture, the lake views, the timeless elegance—it’s truly one of the most stunning spots in the city. A Villa Terrace engagement session is always a favorite of mine, and photographing Nadia + Brad there made it even more special.

After warming up a bit, we headed over to Lake Park to include a couple of very important family members..their dogs! They were dressed to impress in tiny little bowties (seriously, I can’t handle the cuteness), and they added so much fun and personality to the shoot. A Lake Park engagement session never fails to bring out the natural, playful side of couples—and adding in fur babies just made it that much sweeter!

Was it cold? Oh yes. But Nadia + Brad were absolute troopers. You’d never know how chilly it was by looking at their photos—they were so joyful, so connected, and totally down for anything.

Thank you both for such a wonderful session, and for trusting me with this beautiful season of your lives. I’m so looking forward to celebrating your wedding this fall! I’m counting down the days until The Fitzgerald!
