As a wedding photographer, it’s so amazing to see the love that binds the beautiful couples I get the opportunity to work with. I have had the chance to work with countless couples, and it never fails that I become inspired by the love I have the pleasure of documenting. One of my favorite parts of this job is hearing how a couple met and the love story that brought them to where they are today. Here’s a super special one that makes my heart swell with love and appreciation for these two:
Meagan and Lucas’ Love Story
It all started way back in elementary school for these two with diary entries (by Meagan, of course). All through middle school they wrote notes and attempted some group dates together. It wasn’t until their senior year of high school that they began dating and they have been together ever since! Meagan summed it up perfectly, “our love story is definitely not perfect but it is perfectly us. We have been dating for 7 years and people have been joking that it is about dang time. We are both already a part of each other’s families and family is super important to both of us.”
Working with Meagan and Lucas was such a fantastic experience! These two are simply beautiful together, and I was so honored to have been their wedding photographer. My clients’ opinions are so important to me, so I always try to have a good idea of what their wedding “vision” looks like. These two described their wedding as “lakeside elegance”, capturing the natural beauty of the Northwoods, but also giving it that classic wedding charm. Because Meagan and Lucas are on the lake every chance they get in the summer, having their big day on the lake was a must. I loved their passion for this gorgeous setting, so it was definitely a priority of mine to make their vision come true.
Love on Lakes’s Edge
Meagan and Lucas’s wedding day was picture perfect – literally! These two had everything planned in such an elegant and breath-taking way. They used very neutral colors (whites, creams, blues and gold) and chose to have greenery instead of flowers. Their guests were so much fun to be around. Meagan and Lucas’s passion and love for each other was stronger than ever and filled the hearts of all in attendance. It rained on and off, so we had to take photos in between the storms, but that didn’t stop the fun. The rain didn’t put a hinder on the positive atmosphere, as these two and their guests had a wonderful time in spite of the weather. Meagan and Lucas had a beautiful day of marriage, and I am so glad I was able to be a part of it. Congratulations to these two beautiful hearts!
Capturing Meagan and Lucas’ Northwoods Wisconsin Wedding was such an honor. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for these two!
