Why does profit matter?

Profit is important for a few reasons. One, without profit, what’s the point for your business? The main goal for any business owner should be to make more money. Profit is money. More importantly, it’s extra money that neither you, nor your business is relying on for optimization. You get to decide what to do with this extra money every single quarter to move you forward in your business, your goals and your dreams. Profitability in the long term also matters because it impacts whether a company can secure financing from a bank, attract investors or buyers eventually and it’s critical to growth.

I’m new in business, I shouldn’t expect to be profitable yet, right?

Actually, this is one of the myths I hate the most. You’re new in business. You NEED to be profitable. When you’re new, it’s the perfect opportunity to set yourself up for long term success. It’s the perfect opportunity to create good habits. Setting yourself up with financial systems and foundations from the beginning is the best approach for longevity and truly building the business you want.

I'm already struggling. How am I supposed to pay you?

This is a good question and one I get a lot! I know how odd it sounds to pay someone to help you with your money. And I'll be very frank in my answer. I do a lot of free and volunteer coaching and education. Without having a little skin in the game, very few people take the actions necessary to make the changes they're looking to make.

This is an investment to yourself and your family, your future and your retirement and it needs to be taken seriously to make the changes you want to make. It's hard to make a guarantee as a coach because you have to do the actions, but what I do guarantee, is that if you put in the work, you'll see DRASTIC changes and the investment will pay for itself in the long run.

After putting in a little work, you'll be able to find extra money when you cut expenses, pay down debt (i.e. no more interest!), increase your savings rate, hit your financial goals quicker, and have less stress!

How long does it take to get results? When should I start seeing changes?

You really should start feeling relief in your finances by a few weeks after you’ve learned the process of Profit First and you begin to understand your numbers. You’ll really start to feel and see progress and make drastic changes within your 3rd month of implementation. It always takes some time to get used to a new process, but by the end of your first quarter, you’ll wonder how you ever did things without this system.

What if I don't know if I'm ready for one on one coaching?

Honestly? You’re ready when you’re willing to actually do the work. Any type of coaching is fully dependent on your commitment to actually follow through and implement what you learn.

The reality is no matter where you are in business, whether your business is just an idea or you’re flooded with clients….everyone is ready for coaching because no one has it all figured out and everyone can always grow. You (and I!) can always learn and grow. My job is to help every one of my clients learn how to put profit first so they can achieve the life of their dreams. In my personal experience, I have never regretted an investment I made in coaching, even when the investment was scary.

Do you offer guarantees?

I don't with one on one intensives! And the reason is simple. With coaching I provide you with the education  and accountability to hit your financial goals. But the results still depend on YOU. You're the one who has to put in the hard work, (and it is hard work) but your results depend on you.
