Five of the Best Outdoor Wisconsin Wedding Venues

Boerner Botanical Gardens – This space is only 15 minutes from downtown Milwaukee.  It offers 5 rental rooms, 2 of which are typically used for weddings and events.  Boerner Hall accommodates roughly 300 guests and offers a dance floor and view of the Fragrance Garden.  Nell’s Garden operates as a cafe during the day but is available for rent after 4 pm.  The octagonal shaped space accommodates 50-100 people, depending on how you seat them.  A wall of windows faces out toward the Garden Terrace and is the perfect backdrop to any reception.

Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum – Built by Lloyd and Agnes Smith in the Historic Water Tower Neighborhood in 1924, this gorgeous Mediterranean Home was donated to Milwaukee as an art museum.  The bluff surrounding the home displays terraces and formal gardens, water stairways, fish ponds and two secret gardens.  It also offers a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan!

Paine Art Center and Gardens – This stunning space is part of the historic Oshkosh Estate.  It offers beautiful European Architecture along with its 4 acres of botanical gardens.  Their wedding packages offer indoor and outdoor spaces for wedding ceremonies and receptions.  

Green Bay Botanical Garden – This sprawling venue showcases 47 acres of display gardens and natural area.  The grounds provide 6 outdoor venue spaces as well as an indoor venue.  The varying areas accommodate an intimate group of 10 guests, all the way up to a larger party of 250 and everything in between.  

Burlap and Bells – This unique venue offers 3 one of a kind ceremony spaces.  The Vine Chapel, Cliff Top and Tree Grove are all one of a kind places where you can feel one with nature on your big day.  There is a beautiful covered pavilion for reception space that accommodates 150 guests, includes a wooded cocktail area and outdoor dance floor.  This is a venue you cannot miss!
