I was honored when my youngest cousin, Adam, reached out to me about potentially photographing his wedding to Sophie!
I love being invited to family weddings, but I enjoy documenting their day so much more! When you get to be involved in someone’s wedding day in such an intimate way like photography, you really get a glimpse into a couple’s life. You get to witness some of their most intimate moments – watching first looks, hearing heartfelt toasts and witnessing emotions that potentially will only be felt a couple of times in a lifetime. Photographer > Guest!
Every bit of Adam + Sophie’s wedding day was beautiful! For an October wedding the weather turned out beautifully and we had a perfect cloudy sky for portraits. Their bridal party was so sweet and easy to work with (since most were my cousins!), making the day all the more fun.
The emotions that were felt and experienced on this day are some that I will never forget. Like the look on Adam’s face when he saw Sophie for the first time during their first look AND when we watched her walk down the aisle. The chemistry that these two have when they are together is radical and contagious. There is truly something special about their bond, their love and their friendship. Together, they make each other better and they make others better.
