Not a single detail was overlooked for Lauren + Tim’s beautiful September wedding at Big Foot Country Club in Lake Geneva, WI. Lake Geneva holds a special place in both of their hearts since it was where Lauren first met Tim when she was just 10 years old. Lauren described Tim as being her “ultimate childhood crush” after seeing him at various family gatherings. Ten years later (and with a little extra help from Tim’s Dad), these two began dating!

After spending four summers together in Lake Geneva, Tim got down on one knee back where it all began. When Lauren said, “yes!” she was surprised with her closest family and friends waiting to celebrate!

Since Lake Geneva holds a special place in their love story, they knew right away that is where they wanted to be married. It was important to incorporate various elements of Lake Geneva into their wedding decor, taking inspiration from the cool blue waters of Geneva Lake. The details were classic and romantic with a touch of modern simplicity. Their chosen palette is seen throughout the linen selection featuring BBJ’s finest velvet and floral floor length tablecloths mixed throughout the venue.

Despite the wedding day being filled with rain showers (and their original ceremony planned to be outside), their ceremony inside was just as thoughtfully planned. From the candle lighting, to the last minute floral hoop that hung over the aisle, guests may have never known that the original plan was to be outside. From personalized napkins, to a beautiful array of Forever Birdy lounge furniture, to the music played by Triple D – the day and evening was perfect and enjoyed by all in attendance.

Lauren + Tim’s love for each other was apparent throughout the planning process, and was observed on their wedding day at Big Foot Country Club. Their Lake Geneva wedding dreams came true, and was perfectly captured in the images below!
