Brrr.. this was a cold one, folks! I’m thrilled to share this snowy Wisconsin engagement session with you today!
I met Kylie + Grant at her parents home on probably one of the coldest days of the year! Kylie had a vision of a snowy engagement session with snow filled trees and mother nature obliged! Lucky for us, it happened to snow just a few days prior to their session! Despite the sub-zero temperatures, these two were such troopers throughout the session!
Kylie brought some adorable props to incorporate into their session. They popped a bottle of champagne to toast their engagement; snuggled up in a blanket and drank hot cocoa out of ceramic mugs; and toasted marshmallows by the heat of the fire. We were able to create some great imagery with each of their props!
Now for their love story! Both Grant and Kylie attended UW-Stevens Point for college, but ended up meeting years later. Kylie’s college roommate and one of Grant’s friends began dating just after graduating. They had a get together around New Years, and kylie’s old roommate sent her a picture of some random guy. Shortly after, Kylie received a message from Grant and they went on a “blind date” in Milwaukee. After that first date, the rest was history!
These two were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Rustic Manor 1848 back in June! Their wedding was equally as beautiful as their snowy engagement session (without the snow). I cannot wait to share more from their wedding day supper soon! Scroll through a few of my favorite images from their engagement session below!
