Carol and David were such a genuine, amazing couple. Their aura is so real, so raw, and so simple. They are themselves fully and not a moment goes by where they are not comfortable to be 100% in love with one another. Their chemistry is so inspiring, as they have such a strong bond! I was so honored to be a part of documenting this wonderful day for an even more wonderful couple.

Rather than an engagement session, Carol and David decided that they would have a day after sunrise session the morning after their wedding. This type of session isn’t very common around the Midwest area, but I wish it would start to become more popular! There is nothing sweeter than your first day of marriage, and it is definitely a perfect time to document those blissful moments.

Carol and David’s session took place at the same location as their wedding. I loved the idea of this, because it brought such an intimate piece of their relationship into the photos. I can’t even imagine how sleepy these two must’ve been after their wedding night, but it was the perfect way to spend their first morning as husband and wife.

The newlyweds decided on dressing casual for the session, and I loved how they were so simply perfect together! They were so comfortable around each other. Their happiness was so evident in each and every photo taken. Altogether, I had such a wonderful time capturing such sweet memories that Carol and David will be able to cherish forever. The session’s timing was so unique to me, and I am so glad that I was able to do something a little different from the norm! I loved every minute spent with these two, and wish them many many blessings throughout their marriage!

    

I absolutely loved this Day After Sunrise Session! It’s so sweet to be around newlyweds so fresh in love. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for these two!
