Some sessions just feel like a cozy fall hug—and Izzy’s was exactly that. 🍂
Izzy is a senior from Lincoln High School and wanted allll the autumn vibes for her portraits. So we planned a morning session (which, let’s be real, can feel early—but are totally worth it when that golden light hits the trees just right).
We kicked things off at Schuster Park in Neillsville, which always shows off in the fall. The trees were glowing, the air was crisp, and Izzy was just the sweetest soul from the moment she arrived. She describes herself as adventurous, and I saw that right away in the way she embraced the chilly air and explored every spot with a smile.
From Schuster, we headed to Levis Mound for a little woodsy magic. Think: tall trees, quiet paths, and that soft filtered light that makes every photo feel dreamy.
But my favorite part? We ended the session at Cain’s Orchard, tucked into the apple groves for those perfect fall-in-Wisconsin vibes. Izzy wandered the rows of trees in the prettiest outfit, and it felt like we had the whole orchard to ourselves. It was peaceful, vibrant, and such a fun way to end the morning.
Izzy is involved in NHS, Student Council, and Choir, and she told me how much she loves being outside and spending time with kids (which makes total sense—she’s planning to study Early Childhood Education and become a teacher!). You can just tell she’s going to do big things.
Izzy—thank you for such a beautiful morning and for trusting me to document this season of life for you. I had the best time getting to know you, and I can’t wait to see where life takes you next!
