My first destination wedding in Grignon, France at Domaine De Sarson is one for the books! Julie + Shane are the most adorable (and in love) couple and I’m so grateful they trusted me with capturing their day!
Their wedding took place on the grounds of Domaine De Sarson where the chapel walls once stood erect. All that’s left now of the chapel are a few crumbling walls and a dirt floor. But, Julie’s vision along with Oleander Curated team transformed the space into a dream ceremony spot! Candles and a subtle patch of greenery stood as the backdrop to their nuptials! It was simple, yet effective!
Julie wore a stunning dress from Clare La Fayle (that included a cape!!) and Shane donned a dapper blue suit with a floral tie. The guests at the event also wore a similar color pallet of white and blue to match the decor! It made for some beautiful images!
After the short ceremony, guests were treated to dinner out on the lawn under the open sky! The tables were decorated in hues of blue and lavender, and had the prettiest lush flowers as the centerpieces! It rained on and off during their day, but an incredible rainbow made an appearance just as the sun was setting.. you must scroll to the bottom to see!
