Kelly and Kyle’s wedding was simply gorgeous!  They chose The Abbey Resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin for their wedding location. The city holds a special place in her heart and lots of memories for Kelly and her family.  She spent time there as little girl in the adorable town, and has been visiting Lake Geneva since she was born. These two were definitely hands on in creating the decorations for their big day. Each detail was intentional and executed perfectly! They made the signs and crates themselves.  Impressive, right?!

They drew their inspiration from the outdoors, choosing a color palette of sages, blushes and beige tones. These natural palettes are some of my absolute favorites when it comes to wedding trends. It’s so natural and organic, just like the love that brings us all together that day. Not only was their color palette romantic, but it fit beautifully with their rustic décor.  The bridesmaids sage dresses were simplistic and beautiful. They allowed the beauty of Kelly’s closest friends shine, and boy were they gorgeous! I loved the blue suits that the groomsmen wore, so classy!

Kelly and Kyle’s Romantic Outdoor Ceremony

Kelly and Kyle held their ceremony outdoors, overlooking the water under a beautiful white gazebo and a petal-lined aisle.  Kelly’s dress was stunning, almost as stunning as her smile as she walked down the aisle! The back was detailed with gorgeous applique work, and her veil was simply perfection with her gown. She was the definition of a beautiful, blushing bride!

The couple was surrounded by their closest family and friends as they vowed to love and support one another through the rest of their lives.  They held their reception on the property. It was the perfect combination of rustic and elegant class. You could easily see that each detail was meticulously thought out, from the linens, to the personalized table settings.

The outdoors were brought inside by incorporating raw wood elements and greenery into the décor. From place cards to the cake, everything had a uniquely personal touch. As the reception drew on, you could feel the love and support for these two sweet hearts fill the room. I have nothing but the best wishes for a lifetime full of love, laughter and happiness for these two. If their first day of marriage is any indicator, they’re in for quite a fun journey together!
