Lily’s senior session was one of those evenings that felt relaxed, thoughtful, and just really fun to photograph. She’s a senior at Oshkosh West High School, and from the moment we started exploring the Posy Patch property, I knew we were going to create something beautiful together.

Even though Posy Patch is known for its greenhouse, we actually spent the entire session wandering around the farm itself. And honestly, it was the perfect choice. Lily loved the white flower bush by the farmhouse, the soft greenery of the willow tree, the charming white picket fence, and the open field. Every little corner gave us something new to work with!

Lily is involved in tennis, works as a CNA, participates in multiple clubs and student organizations, and spends a lot of her time volunteering. When she’s not busy with all of that, she enjoys baking and hanging out with friends. She describes herself as compassionate, and you can truly feel that about her the moment you meet her. She also shared that she can’t live without her best friend, which made me smile.

One of my favorite things about working with Lily was how prepared she was. She knew exactly the type of photos she wanted, and it made the session feel really collaborative and easy-going. We wandered from spot to spot around the farm, soaking up the soft light and capturing images that felt natural and true to her.

Lily has some incredible dreams ahead of her. After high school, she plans to pursue a degree in biomedical or biochemistry before heading to grad school to earn her doctorate. Her goal is to become an oncologist, pediatrician, or work in cancer research. I have no doubt she’s going to make such a difference in the world. Her bucket list includes traveling to different countries, making it through grad school, and one day owning a home by the beach.
