Nestled in the picturesque beauty of Lake Geneva, Maggie and Dustin’s wedding at the stunning Geneva National Resort was nothing short of magical. As a Lake Geneva wedding photographer, capturing their love story brought me immense joy. From our first meeting, this couple captured my heart, and it was a true honor to document their special day!

Maggie and Dustin’s love story is straight out of a modern-day fairy tale. They first connected on the dating app, Hinge, and quickly discovered a serendipitous connection – both of their grandmothers shared the same name, Judy. It was as if fate had been orchestrating their meeting all along. Despite some initial nerves and a hilarious mix-up at their first meeting spot, their connection was undeniable from the moment Dustin walked through the doors with a big smile on his face.

With a childhood spent at her Grandpa’s Lakehouse on Powers Lake, Maggie had always dreamt of a lake wedding. Dustin, too, had cherished memories of Wisconsin, visiting his grandparents’ campsite. The choice of Geneva National Resort in Lake Geneva perfectly encapsulated their shared love for lakeside settings. Their color scheme, blending greens, blues, and blushes with rustic elements, adds a touch of timeless charm to their celebration.

The talented team from Graceful Events and Petals N’ Bloom worked their magic to bring Maggie and Dustin’s vision to life. Maggie glowed in her elegant off-the-shoulder dress by Alex Perry, while Dustin looked dashing in his suit from Men’s Warehouse. Together, they epitomized timeless elegance on their special day!

Their portrait session took place on the land where Maggie’s parents would soon build their lake home, adding an extra layer of significance to the day. Despite the windy weather, we captured some truly magical moments that perfectly encapsulated their love and excitement.

One of the most unforgettable surprises of the day was when Maggie’s parents arranged for the Shannon Rovers, an Irish Pipe band, to serenade the couple before they entered their reception. It was a joyous celebration filled with laughter, clapping, and dancing.

As the sun began to set, we stole a few moments for sunset portraits on a grassy hill overlooking the lake. It was a serene and magical moment as Maggie and Dustin took in the beauty of the day and the beginning of their journey as husband and wife.
