I have said it many times before, but I truly love the way an engagement session allows me to get to know my couples better! It makes the wedding day feel a little less daunting for the couple, and helps me as the photographer know what it is that makes the client feel the most comfortable in front of the camera!
The first time I chatted with Cristina and Dan I was immediately drawn to them! They are so intentional, thoughtful and fun. As I listened to her tell me about their plans for their wedding I could tell they had given so much thought to every detail and wanted it to be a reflection of them as a couple. Not because they care too much about details and the way things look, but rather they want to create a setting where all of their friends and family can feel well loved and comfortable as they celebrate and dance the night away!
I drove to Chicago for the day to meet Cristina + Dan for their session! Since Chicago plays such a major role in their love story, we wanted to capture all the hot spots! From the famous honeycomb structure to the chicago skyline to the Ulysses S. Grant Monument.. we squeezed in all the locations that we could!
It was so fun getting to know these two together during their Chicago engagement session! It makes me all the more excited for their wedding day in a few months! Congratulations, Cristina + Dan! Looking forward to September!!
