Meet Mesa a senior from Greenwood High School! She is involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, FFA, band, choir/jazz choir, barrel racing and drama. Whew! She is busy! Mesa also loves sports, horses, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and reading!

Mesa can’t live without raspberries (same, Mesa, same!) and loves to shop at American Eagle. Her top three things on her bucket-list include traveling the world, hang gliding, and learning to surf. After high school she plans to attend college at UW-Madison and major in Environmental Science/Ecology. Mesa hopes to eventually gain a career with the DNR or a related conservational field.

We actually did two different sessions for Mesa: one to focus on all of her sports and another to focus on her horse (as she grew up riding!). We couldn’t fit it all into one session so splitting it into two different days worked out the best! For the first session, we met at the Greenwood High School for some basketball portraits in the gym + locker room. Then we made our way to a local park for volleyball portraits in the sand and softball portraits at the diamond.

In downtown Greenwood there is a beautiful old blue bridge that Mesa passes through each day. This bridge will be torn down soon so she wanted to grab a few portraits there before that day comes! I think this was one of my favorite set of images! After a few bridge photos, we ended the first session at Rustic Occasions in their field as the sun was setting!

For Mesa’s second sessions we focused mainly on her beautiful horse! We made our way down to the river near their home and explored the area. Mesa wore a stunning red dress that made for some beautiful portraits on her horse and in the river!

Thank you, Mesa, for choosing me to capture your senior portraits! It was so much fun hanging out with you on two different occasions! Wishing you all the best at UW-Madison and in your future endeavors! Check out my favorite images from this Greenwood senior below!
