Alexis + Troy met on Bumble back in 2017. After both swiping right, they went on a date! The following weekend Alexis was with her friends in Lake Geneva and decided to invite Troy to come along. He showed up with a case of Miller Lite and right away everyone loved him. Alexis kept telling her friend, “what if I have a boyfriend soon” and sure enough she did!

After three years of dating, Troy finally popped the question! They went to a forest preserve for a “wedding send off” for a friends wedding send off when Troy got down on one knee. Turns out, her friends weren’t there at all and it had all been one big set up!

A Winter Wedding At Black Swan Plant No. 4 | Milwaukee Wedding Photographer

Black Swan Plant No. 4 in downtown Milwaukee stood as the backdrop for their ceremony and reception. This venue checked all their must haves: modern, bright, open and a clean slate. Hues of blue, white, and gold were intertwined into their details to provide a rustic and wintery vibe.

Alexis wore a strapless bridal dress with an off the shoulder fur coat and a long cathedral veil, while each of her bridesmaids stunned in a blue velvet dress from Revelry. Troy and his groomsmen donned black tuxes provided by Generation Tux.

After the short ceremony, the guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the top floor of the venue while the main floor was flipped for the reception. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal provided by Saz’s Catering, mini bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes, sipped on their signature drink “The Hazey Boy” (in honor of their puppy!), live music by Bluewater Kings Band (Troy loves to dance!), a fun open-air photobooth by Kelly Grace Photography, and a late night snack of pizza! It was a fun and memorable wedding for each of their guests!
