This elopement at Dixon’s Apple Orchard is a special one to me!
I met Larissa quite a few years ago when I photographed her senior portraits! She has this beautiful, charismatic, fun, and outgoing personality, and an amazing laugh + smile! I so enjoyed my time with her! Since her senior portraits, I continued to stay in touch with her through social media! I love to become friends with my seniors and keep in touch with them as they go through college + beyond! When Larissa reached out asking if I would photograph her elopement I was absolutely overjoyed!
Larissa + Ryan chose Dixon’s Apple Orchard just outside of Cadott as the backdrop for their elopement. It was a simple wedding with just six of us in attendance! Everything was planned so perfectly for the two of them, but these were my favorite moments:
- Katherine helping Larissa get ready in the bridal suite. You could feel all the joy, love and excitement while they got ready!
- Larissa + Ryan’s first look in the apple orchard, and the private vows they shared with each other.
- The way Ryan made Larissa laugh and cry during their private vows (+ the entire day)
- The beautiful falls trees surrounding their ceremony location
- Mike walking Larissa down the aisle and across the cute little bridge to Ryan
- How Ryan’s Dad stood in as best man and held their rings
- How Larissa’s Mom got ordained just so she could marry the two of them!
- The stunning portraits we did in a row boat on the pond!
- A champagne toast and cake cutting to end the evening
